Experiments in Change — Monthly Practice for Purpose & Alignment
Experiments in Change — Monthly Practice for Purpose & Alignment
Experiments in Change is a gentle, community-supported way to explore what matters most to you—and to align how you spend your time with your values, passions, and purpose.
Rather than big overhauls or rigid self-improvement plans, this offering invites you into small, meaningful experiments. Each month, participants are guided through a simple challenge designed to help you notice what energizes you, what drains you, and where your time is truly pointing. These experiments are about curiosity, not perfection.
What it looks like
A monthly theme focused on purpose, connection, creativity, rest, contribution, or change
One or two low-stakes challenges that fit into real life
Reflection prompts to help you notice patterns and insights
Optional community check-ins to share learnings and support one another
Encouragement to trade time, skills, or support through Timebank SD, when helpful
Why it works
Many of us are busy—but disconnected from what actually brings us meaning. Experiments in Change creates space to slow down, pay attention, and make intentional shifts without pressure. Over time, these small experiments build clarity, confidence, and alignment—helping you shape a life that feels more like yours.
Who it’s for
People feeling stuck, stretched thin, or at a crossroads
Community-minded folks who want their time to reflect their values
Anyone curious about purpose, creativity, or contribution—without burnout
Individuals or small groups who want to grow alongside others
A community-rooted approach
Participants are encouraged (but never required) to use Timebank San Diego as part of their experiments—whether that means offering a skill, asking for support, or participating in a shared activity. We provide guidance to help make timebanking feel accessible, meaningful, and aligned with your goals.
At The Marvel Method, we believe change happens through attention, relationship, and practice.
Experiments in Change offers a way to begin—one month, one experiment, one meaningful shift at a time.
